From the President

WELCOME BACK BCSCA!!!

We trust you took time this summer to relax and rejuvenate. Just a few days back and it feels like we never left.

Good News! Our friends at Berkeley College will once again be hosting our opening meeting on Tuesday, September 30th at the beautiful Venetian in Garfield. This always well-attended meeting promises to be filled with great information, good friends, and delicious food.

Registration is open at www.bergencounselors.org. Dues can be paid at the door. Annual membership is $40.  Please have checks already made out to “BCSCA”.

Our year promises to be an exciting one with meeting sponsors that include local colleges and universities such as Felician College, Eastwick College, Rowan University and Mercy College. And ones from further away like Stony Brook University, University of Alabama, Purdue University and our first-ever international sponsor Glion Institute for Higher Learning and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management. BCSCA promises to provide you with quality professional development on topics of college admission as well as "how to's" in  providing emotional health for your students.

COMING SOON! The BCSCA  Forum. This forum will be run through www.bergencounselors.org. It will give members an avenue to ask questions and post information to the general membership. You will be given the opportunity to opt in or out of the forum. More information to follow by email and at our first meeting.

See you on September 30th at the Venetian. Please RSVP soon.

Regards,

Kerry Leto and the BCSCA Executive Board
