RAMP SUPPORT GROUP - http://njsca.org/blog/ramp-support-group

Calling all NJ School Counselors interested in attaining national recognition as a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) for their school counseling programs. NJ currently has only one school with the national RAMP designation, and I am hoping to change that. Any NJ school counselors interested in getting RAMP'd up, I am starting an online monthly chat starting on Monday, December 1st at 4:00 p.m. The Google Hangout will run for approximately one hour, and will focus on a particular topic(s) focused towards helping you achieve RAMP status.

If you are interested in this monthly chat, please email me at . Looking forward to collaborating with all those interested in raising their program to a new level!

Thank you to the almost 100 of you that attended our February meeting. Tom Eastwick, always a gracious and generous host, reminded us that this is his 29th year of hosting BCSCA! Eastwick College's job-focused majors are a natural choice for many of our students. Check out their High School Shared Time program. It could be an option for your at-risk or classified students. Contact Caroline Paskas for more information or to schedule a visit: ( 201-494-5012)

Thank you to those of you who donated gift cards or money to assist the students in Edgewater, all proceeds are being sent directly to Eleanor Van Gelder School. If you were unable to do so at the meeting, please donate a gift card from a grocery store, Target, Walgreens, CVS or any other major retailer to help these Bergen County students who lost their homes in the recent apartment fire.  Please send donations directly to....
